Our Story
LittlePeas was created from a very personal beginning.
Our journey started when our daughter arrived earlier than expected and spent time in the NICU. Like so many families in that world, we learned quickly how powerful the smallest moments can be — tiny milestones, gentle moments together, and the long-awaited day of bringing her home.
During that time, we noticed something missing. Essentials that truly fit. Clothing that felt gentle and comforting. Stories that reflected the NICU journey with honesty and hope. Things designed not just to be cute, but to feel supportive during such a delicate chapter.
That experience became the heart of LittlePeas.
What LittlePeas Means
The name LittlePeas is more than a sweet expression.
P.E.A.S. stands for Precious Early Arrivals — a reminder of the tiny fighters who arrive sooner than expected and the strength they show from the very beginning. It represents the babies who inspire this brand and the families who walk alongside them.
Every piece we create is rooted in that meaning.
Designed With Intention
Our clothing was designed to include every feature we found essential during those early days. Soft, organic cotton for delicate skin. Fold-over hand and foot coverings to keep little ones warm and prevent scratching. A two-way zipper for easier changes, along with a protective zipper flap at the neckline to keep metal away from baby’s skin.
Each detail exists for a reason — because we needed it ourselves.
Why We Created Petite Newborn
One of the biggest challenges we faced was sizing.
When our daughter outgrew preemie clothing, traditional newborn sizes were still far too big. Her arms and legs would slip out of the sleeves and pants, often getting stuck inside the bodysuit, leaving her uncomfortable and exposed.
That’s why we created Petite Newborn — a unique in-between size designed specifically for babies who are too big for preemie but too small for newborn. This size was made to ensure extra-fragile little ones stay properly covered, comfortable, and secure during a time when comfort matters most.
